Aspiring actress Louise Muban attends the prestigious Paris School of Drama during the day and works at a dreary factory assembling gas meters at night. Nana sets a trap for Louise, and the result is an end to one fantasy and the realization of another.

A young woman experiences the worst life has to over in this depressing but worthwhile Colombian drama tinged with a hint of magical realism. Paola Baldion plays Marina, a withdrawn teenager whose abusive grand-dad houses her in a dilapidated shed. When the old fart pops his clogs, Marina passes into the care of cousin Jairo (Julian Roman), a cheesecake photographer who "hires" her to help him with his gear, and the two end up taking an episodic road trip as they travel to reclaim grandpa's legacy. Unpleasant flashbacks to Marina's tragic childhood ensue. Yep, the good times never end in this one! Known in English as Portraits in a Sea of Lies, this meditation on the 50-year long Colombian civil war - as seen through the grueling experiences of our heroine - won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 14th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival.

An upbeat, positive film about a group of women dealing with mid-life and menopause. The women come from a wide range of backgrounds, careers and lifestyles. Some are married; some are divorced. Interviews alternate with sequences showing the women both at home and in the workplace. Based on the women's experiences, the film effectively dispels popular myths and fears about life during and after menopause.

Charlie quits his job in New York to move home to Pennsylvania to manage his favorite hometown rock band, firmly believing the band's glory days are ahead of them. His supportive girlfriend shares his love for the band, but the band's guitarist, who has experienced the harsh reality of the music business, doesn't share Charlie's wide-eyed optimism. His attitude derails Charlie's best efforts to bring the band success and sends Charlie spiraling into an emotional, financial, and romantic tailspin. Charlie hits rock bottom when he loses both the band and his girlfriend, but gets some unexpected help from his elderly neighbor who sets him back on his path. With terrific music from two outstanding Pennsylvania-based musical talents (The Badlees and Laura Shay), All in Time delivers a nice mix of drama, musical performances, and comedy, with a few twists along the way.

The future. Criminals serve prison sentences before they commit their crimes. Prisons are on new planets that are being colonised. After serving their time, the former prisoners return to their home planet.
